Meet Our Pastor
Jason, Joy, and Leland McGarr
Pastor Jason and his wife Joy are the founders of Christ Point Apostolic Church and have pastored The Christ Point for the past 10 years. They left their Indiana home in 2015 to start the church, in the heart of Baldwin County.
With over 30 years of ministerial experience, they have faithfully served in various capacities. Before moving to Milledgeville, GA, they youth pastored for 5 years at his home church in Brazil, IN until 2009. They then served at Calvary Tabernacle in Indianapolis, IN for 6 years until moving to GA in 2015.
Pastor Jason McGarr -- Ordained Licensed Minister, UPCI
Is a graduate of Liberty University with an AA in Business Management and Indiana Bible College with a BA in Biblical Studies. He served as a GA District Sectional Youth Director for 3 years and, since 2019, presently serves on the GA District North American Missions Board as a Sectional Director, collaborating to start new churches and preaching points in the state of GA.
Pastor Joy McGarr -- Ordained Licensed Minister, UPCI
Is a graduate of Indiana Bible College with a BA in Biblical Studies and Liberty University with a MA in Professional Counseling. She is a Certified Life Coach and an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor. She currently serves as a GA District Sectional Ladies Director. She is also an accomplished singer.
